Kaju Burfi is also known as kaju katli . It is an Indian dessert similar to a burfi . Kaju means cashew, burfi is often made by thickening milk with sugar and dry fruits etc… Let’s make this delicious , smooth and perfect kaju burfi .

Kaju Burfi | Kaju Katli

Ingredients:-

Kaju( Cashew) – 200 g

Milk Powder – 50g

Sugar Powder – 100 g

Cardamom – 1 table spoon

Ghee – 100g

  1. Grind the cashews into a fine powder.
  2. Add Sugar powder and some water to pan and bring to boil.
  3. Let caramelize it .
  4. Now add cardamom powder to it, and mix well.
  5. Now add Cashew Powder and mix it by adding ghee and milk powder .
  6. Cook the mixture over low heat, stirring continuously, until the mixture starts to leave the sides of the pan.
  7. Remove the pan from heat and transfer the mixture to a greased plate or tray.
  8. Spread the mixture evenly all over the plate or tray.
  9. Allow the mixture to cool for a few minutes, then cut it into squares or diamond or triangle shapes.
  10. That’s it Very simple and tasty Kaju Burfi ready.
