karevapaku Rice/karevapaku pulao is one of the simple and tastiest recipe . It is also known as curry leaf pulao .karevapaku is very useful for eyes . It contains rich source of vitamin A, Vitamin B, Vitamin c, B2, Calcium and Iron.

Ingredients :

Karevapaku | Curry leaf

Chili

Garlic

Ginger

Onions

Potatoes

Cashew Nuts

Badam

karevapaku Rice / karevapaku Pulao preparation in Simple steps

  • Paste greenchilli ,garlic ,ginger, in a mixy jar
  • Also grind Karevapaku gently
  • Now take a cooker and add oil in to it then add Onions
  • Onions become brown in colour then add chilli, garlic ginger paste and karevapaku paste and mix it well
  • Take another pan and fry potatoes and then add potatoes into the mixture and fry and add some green chilli pieces
  • Now add rice into the mixture and then mix till rice absorbs the masala well and then add required quantity of water
  • Water quantity 250 gms of rice = 375 ml of water (or) 1 cup rice = 1 1/2 cup water
  • After that add salt as per the taste and one spoon of sugar. Adding of sugar gives extra taste to the rice. close the lid let it cook
  • In the another pan add ghee and fry cashew and badam and now add garam masala into the rice and let it boil
  • After sometime take the lid and check it
  • Now tasty karevapaku rice / pulav is ready, Serve it hot
  • Serve it with raitha
